TLC Asociados informa a todos nuestros usuarios lo relativo a la publicación realizada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) el día 25 de Marzo de 2016 relativo a   “ACUERDO por el cual se establece el criterio para la verificación de cumplimiento de la Norma Oficial Mexicana NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014, Bebidas alcohólicas. Especificaciones sanitarias. Etiquetado sanitario y comercial, publicada el 23 de marzo de 2015.”

TLC Asociados informs all of our users the information regarding the publication in the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) on March 25^th, 2016, in relationship to the “AGREEMENT that establishes the criterion for the compliance verification of the Mexican Official Standard NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014, Alcoholic beverages. Sanitary Specifications. Commercial and sanitary labeling, published on March 23^rd, 2015.”

El citado Acuerdo se encuentra relacionado con la publicación de la NORMA Oficial Mexicana NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014, Bebidas alcohólicas. Especificaciones sanitarias. Etiquetado sanitario y comercial publicada en el DOF el día 23 de Marzo de 2015, la cual establece las especificaciones de etiquetado sanitario y comercial de las bebidas alcohólicas que se comercialicen en el territorio nacional  y su obligación de cumplir con esta norma al momento de su importación.

The mentioned Agreement is related to the publication of the Mexican Official Standard NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014, Alcoholic beverages. Sanitary specifications. Commercial and sanitary Labeling published in the DOF on March 23rd, 2015, which establishes the commercial and sanitary labeling specifications of the alcoholic beverages that are commercialized within national territory and their obligation to comply with this standard at the moment of importation.

Ahora bien, de lo que refiere a la Norma publicada el día 23 de Marzo de 2015, se especificaba en su numeral 15. Vigencia  que el capítulo 9 y sus subpuntos relacionado con el etiquetado a la importación entrarán en vigor a los 365 días naturales posteriores a la publicación de la presente Norma en el Diario Oficial de la Federación, cumpliéndose dicha fecha el día 22 de Marzo de 2016.

Now, in the standard published on March 23^rd, 2015, it was specified in its numeral 15. Period of validity that the chapter 9 and its sub points related to the labeling on the import operation will enter into force within 365 calendar days following the publication of this standard in the Official Journal of the Federation, being such date March 22^nd, 2016.

De lo anterior, que se haga el atento recordatorio respecto al cumplimiento de la presente norma precisando que con la publicación del Acuerdo publicado del día de hoy antes citado, se indica el CRITERIO DE LA VERIFICACIÓN Y VIGILANCIA que de la lectura del segundo transitorio de la NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014 las bebidas alcohólicas producidas, fabricadas, distribuidas o importadas con anterioridad al 22 de marzo de 2016, quedarán sujetas de verificación y vigilancia conforme lo señalado en la NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-1995, Bebidas alcohólicas. Especificaciones sanitarias. Etiquetado sanitario y comercial, publicada el 9 de julio de 1997 en el Diario Oficial de la Federación.

Therefore, we make this attentive reminder in regards to the compliance of the standard specifying that, with the publication of the Agreement previously mentioned, the CRITERION FOR THE VERIFICATION AND SURVEILLANCE is indicated, and within the second transitory of the NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-2014, the alcoholic beverages produced, fabricated, distributed, or imported before March 22^nd, 2016, will be subjected to verification and surveillance according to the established in the NOM-142-SSA1/SCFI-1995, Alcoholic beverages. Sanitary Specifications. Commercial and sanitary labeling published on July 9^th, 1997 in the Official Journal of the Federation.
