El día 22 de FEBRERO de 2018 se dio a conocer en el Diario Oficial de la Federación por parte de la SECRETARÍA DE MEDIO AMBIENTE Y RECURSOS NATURALES, lo siguiente:
NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA NOM-144-SEMARNAT-2017, QUE ESTABLECE LAS MEDIDAS FITOSANITARIAS Y LOS REQUISITOS DE LA MARCA RECONOCIDAS INTERNACIONALMENTE PARA EL EMBALAJE DE MADERA QUE SE UTILIZA EN EL COMERCIO INTERNACIONAL DE BIENES Y MERCANCÍAS.
1 Objetivos y campo de aplicación. La presente Norma tiene por objeto establecer:
1.1 Las especificaciones de las medidas fitosanitarias para el embalaje de madera que se utiliza en el comercio internacional de bienes y mercancías, sus especificaciones técnicas y el uso de la Marca reconocida internacionalmente para acreditar la aplicación de dichas medidas fitosanitarias. […]
TRANSITORIOS
ÚNICO. La presente Norma Oficial Mexicana entrará en vigor a los sesenta días naturales posteriores a su publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación.
Sin otro asunto en particular quedamos a sus órdenes para cualquier duda o aclaración respecto de la presente información.

MEXICAN OFFICIAL STANDARD NOM-144-SEMARNAT-2017, WHICH ESTABLISHES THE PHYTOSANITARY MEASURES AND THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE INTERNACIONALLY RECOGNIZED TRADEMARK FOR WOODEN PACKAGING THAT IS USED IN THE INTERNATIONAL TRADE OF GOODS AND MERCHANDISE.
1 Objectives and field of application. The purpose of this Standard is to establish:
1.1 The specifications of the phytosanitary measures for wooden packaging used in the international trade of goods and merchandise, its technical specifications and the use of the Internationally recognized trademark to accredit the use of said phytosanitary measures. […]

SOLE. This Official Mexican Standard will come into effect sixty calendar days after its publication in the Official Federal Gazette.
